Case study
A new-build food production plant requiring NSF-certified fixtures, IP69K wash-down ratings, and DIGESA compliance — without sacrificing energy performance.
The challenge
Alicorp's new sauce plant carried a triple constraint. Food-safety code (DIGESA) demanded NSF-certified fixtures. Daily high-pressure wash-down required IP69K protection. And the production line needed CRI high enough for accurate visual inspection of color, fill, and label. All three had to land inside an energy budget below conventional LED.

The deployment
We specified a fixture set that satisfied food-safety code first, then layered Spark Mesh and Spark Control to hold consumption below conventional LED.
Smart Fixtures — NSF— Food-grade housing with IP69K rating, designed to take daily high-pressure wash-down.
Spark Mesh— Motion and daylight sensors integrated into the fixture mesh, scaling output to occupancy and ambient light.
High-CRI specification— Color rendering tuned for accurate visual inspection across the production line.
Verified outcomes
−35%
Vs. conventional LED
Consumption reduced 35% against a comparable conventional-LED installation.
NSF + DIGESA
Certified
Full compliance with NSF certification and DIGESA's hygiene and ergonomics requirements.
Industrial LED rated to outlast the plant's mid-cycle service intervals — no in-life relamping.
High-CRI lighting supports accurate color, fill-level, and label inspection across the line.
